Skin boosters, Profhilo and dermal filler
Skin boosters focus mainly on hydration and skin quality. Profhilo is commonly discussed as a bio-remodelling treatment, while dermal filler is selected when structure, contour or volume is the main objective. These options are not interchangeable, and an assessment helps identify which approach best matches your concern.
Lumi Eye is intended for discussion around the under-eye area, which requires careful assessment. Infini Aqua and other skin boosters may be considered for different skin-quality goals. Biofiller is also assessed separately according to suitability and the area being considered.
Consultation and suitability
Your consultation includes the treatment area, previous aesthetic procedures, medicines, allergies, skin condition and relevant medical information. Treatment may need to be postponed when there is an active infection, inflammation or another suitability concern.
Skin boosters may not be appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding or for some medical circumstances. Individual assessment comes before product selection.
Downtime, risks and aftercare
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, itching or small raised injection points can occur. These commonly settle, but recovery varies. Other complications are possible with injectable treatments and will be discussed during consultation.
