What is plasma fibroblast treatment?

Plasma fibroblast is a cosmetic treatment that creates controlled, superficial points of heat without a surgical incision. It may be discussed for selected areas where skin tightening or improvement in the appearance of laxity is the main goal.

The treatment is not suitable for every person, skin type or concern. The area, skin condition, medical history, tendency to pigmentation or scarring, previous treatments and expected healing must be considered before a plan is agreed. Results vary and a particular degree of tightening cannot be guaranteed.

  • Targeted planning: treatment is limited to areas assessed as suitable.
  • Healing considered: downtime and the visible recovery period are discussed in advance.
  • Personalised aftercare: guidance is provided for protecting and caring for the treated skin.

Plasma treatment may be considered for suitable skin around the outer eye area after checking skin condition and suitability.

Neck

Treatment planning depends on the degree and pattern of skin laxity, the condition of the skin and realistic expectations.

Knees

Suitable areas around the knees can be assessed separately, with expected healing and aftercare explained before proceeding.
