Lip fillers at Mr Aesthetics in Leigh are tailored to your existing lip shape, facial proportions and preferred level of definition. Treatment may be considered for subtle volume, border definition, improved balance or a more hydrated appearance, subject to consultation and suitability.
Clients visit the clinic from Leigh, Atherton, Tyldesley, Wigan and surrounding Greater Manchester areas. Every plan is individual; one lip shape or technique is not suitable for everyone.
Natural-looking lip enhancement
Lip filler commonly uses a hyaluronic-acid gel placed carefully in selected areas of the lips. The amount and placement depend on your anatomy and goals. Some clients want a very subtle adjustment, while others prefer clearer definition or gradual volume building over more than one appointment.
Naturally thin lips, asymmetry, reduced definition and age-related volume changes all require different approaches. A consultation helps establish what can realistically be achieved without overfilling or creating a result that is out of balance with the rest of your face.

Consultation and suitability
Your lips, smile, profile, facial proportions and any existing filler are assessed before treatment. Please disclose relevant medical information, medicines, allergies, previous complications and any history of cold sores. Treatment may need to be postponed if there is an active infection, irritation or another concern affecting suitability.
If previous filler has migrated or the lip tissue needs time to recover, adding more product may not be the appropriate first step. The safest plan is based on assessment rather than following a trend or copying another person’s result.
Risks and downtime
Swelling, tenderness, redness and bruising are common temporary effects after lip filler. The lips can appear uneven while swelling settles, so the early appearance is not the final result. Other complications can occur, including infection, lumps, prolonged swelling and vascular occlusion. Severe or increasing pain, unusual whitening or blotchy discolouration, cold skin or visual symptoms require urgent professional assessment.
Lip filler aftercare
Follow the aftercare provided at your appointment. You may be advised temporarily to avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, excessive heat and pressure on the lips. Keep the area clean and do not massage or repeatedly press the lips unless specifically instructed.
